ZOOMARK INTERNATIONAL, ORGANIZED BY BOLOGNAFIERE, IS THE ONLY INTERNATIONAL PET INDUSTRY EVENT IN EUROPE TAKING PLACE IN PERSON IN 2021
In business, meeting personally with partners and clients is crucial, and in times of crisis, even more so. Thanks to the prospects for improvement in the pandemic situation and new agreements with Interzoo (read the press release), BolognaFiere has now repositioned Zoomark International on its original odd year schedule: the trade show will be taking place in person, from Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th November 2021.
The event will be held in full compliance with health and safety regulations in halls 25, 26 and 37 of the Bologna exhibition centre and will be supported and complemented by a digital platform created to boost the visibility of the fair and its exhibitors.
A HYBRID FORMULA
This innovative combination of physical event and digital platform will enable exhibiting companies to reach out to and build new relationships with those buyers who, due to the ongoing health-related restrictions, will not have the opportunity to travel and take part in person.
In these uncertain times, this hybrid approach will enable Zoomark International to offer an exceptional point of encounter between manufacturers and distributors, packed with opportunities to network, and taking advantage of the digital dimension to enable exchanges of information, ideas and knowledge that will prevail over physical distance and social distancing.
WEB EVENTS AND MEETINGS
Reaching out to exchanging ideas and information represents a vital coping strategy in this unprecedented crisis.
There will be a series of web-based activities to prepare the industry for the event in Bologna in November 2021. In-depth events will provide information and food for thought, opportunities for growth and engagement on topical issues, and a look at the new market scenarios.
A STRONG INTERNATIONAL OUTLOOK
The last edition of Zoomark International in 2019 hosted 757 exhibitors and saw 67% of attendees from abroad. There was a 6% rise in the number of foreign exhibitors, who came from 44 countries, not to mention six international delegations.
There was also a strong increase in the number of international buyers, which grew by 23% and hailed from 104 countries.
