Agras Pet Foods supplies both pet shop channel and wholesale distribution, covering more than 3,000 customers in Italy and almost 70 countries worldwide.
With 3 operative depots measuring a total of 10,000 m2, Agras Pet Foods takes advantages of an efficient, tried-and-tested logistics service able to supply with promptness and accuracy from the small specialized shop to the large distribution centers. The internationalisation process began in Holland in 2003, before then continuing throughout Europe and then beyond its borders not many years later. Agras Pet Foods, a company established in 1986 as Agras Delic S.p.A., was born with the aim of bringing quality into the pet food segment, the formulation, production processes and the finished product. This was a highly innovative concept at that time; in Italy domestic animals were fed primarily with "scraps from the table" while pet food, that is industrial food for cats and dogs, was in its infancy and was an entirely new food concept. From careful observation of the behaviour of many animal owners and the animals themselves, which were increasingly becoming an integral part of the family, it seemed clear that this was a market that also had space for high quality products.
The company has never looked back from this objective in more than 30 years of operations.
