Family firm that was born as a company dedicated to the hand rearing of African Grey parrots. This specialization led us to develop food for our own birds. This was the origin from which Psittacus started to apply the know-how achieved to other species entering, at the same time, to the commercial market. Progressively, we have expanded the working range to what is known as ornamental and pet birds. Thus, nowadays, our products are divided in four brands: Psittacus for parrots, Serinus for finches, Columbae for pigeons and Wildiets for frugivorous.

Research, development and innovation have been, from the beginning, our line of work. And so it continues to be focusing on the refinement of the criteria and products that we design and manufacture.
