Herby is a bowl for catnip signed by United Pets by Guzzini and designed by DesignLibero studio. The bowl looks like a real Cat Garden, with soft and captivating shapes, which are well suited to any room in the house. The bowl has been designed both to sow catnip and to contain the pre-packaged tray. This plant is used by cats for its sedative, antispasmodic, antipyretic and diaphoretic properties, i.e. the ability to increase body sweating. These properties come mainly from the content of tannins and essential oil. The bowl was designed using Guzzini's innovative Bio-Based material. The product is made with 90% bio-based plastic, derived from plant biomass waste and residues, renewable and non-fossil origin. The plastic can be traced back to biological waste material which is attributed to this product via the mass balance approach. The product is aimed at all cat owners who want a product with an iconic and sustainable character in their home. Circular economy is the key word of the project: catnip is born and grows inside the product made of a bio-based material. Herby is the perfect union between the iconic design of United Pets and the sustainable spirit that has always distinguished the Guzzini company

The possibility of planting catnip seeds inside the bowl is an invitation for cat owners to prefer the cultivation , compared to pre-packaged disposable plastic trays. Even the choice of the Bio-Based material by the Guzzini company is not accidental, Herby' message is respect for nature and the importance of the circular economy. Circular economy is the key word of the project: catnip is born and grows inside the product made of a bio-based material.
