Our bowls - Handmade in Belgium supporting people with psychosocial disabilities

As a new company, we felt it was important to do things differently. From design, to materials to production. Our bowls are made out of 70% of sand. The sand ensures that the bowls are as natural as possible and brings some benefits. For example, it makes the bowls extra heavy to prevent tipping and shifting while eating. Also, the bows are extra strong and can take a bump. All finished with anti-slip to keep the bowls in place while eating. All our bowls are handmade in Belgium. We consciously chose to keep our production local. This brings us a lot of flexibility to create adaptations or new forms. We can also produce in small quantities to avoid waste or overstock. The bowls are made in an employment care center. The operations and phases required to make our bowls, along with the responsible that the people get, prepare them back to re-enter the labor market.

PROBLEM Today, feeders for pets are mainly made at mass production level without any consideration for animal, human or planet. There is little innovation present in the industry to build a brand differently and with new materials and production methods.
