Recipe No7 – Lamb & Herring

Meet Pala - raw but not wet or frozen, air-dried but not cooked, highly digestible and bio-available, complete and balanced, with an extra helping of Omegas 3 & 6, probiotics and enzymes. Our innovative, sterile, closed loop air-drying process extracts moisture from our raw ingredients gently without breaking down the proteins and enzymes. The drying process takes up to 24 hours at low temperatures. This gives Pala our unique dry-to-touch texture while retaining freshness at room temperature. Pala does not need to be refrigerated or frozen, and can be fed directly to pets without any preparation. All the natural aroma and flavour of our high-quality ingredients are well preserved, making our foods completely irresistible to dogs. Made without any additives or heavily processed ingredients, this complete recipe is balanced naturally by using functional ingredients like Icelandic lamb (41%) (muscles, organs, bones), whole Atlantic herring (31%), whole eggs (6%), fresh vegetables, Icelandic kelp, wheatgrass, citrus bioflavonoids and natural tocopherols with rosemary extract. Our choice of lamb from Iceland is deliberate. The fertile volcanic soil in Iceland is known for its high mineral and nutrient content, which provides the ideal growing conditions for nutritious grasses, wildflowers, and heather that our Icelandic lambs feed on. This natural and nutrient-dense diet means that our lamb meat is not only delicious but also packed with essential vitamins and minerals that are crucial for maintaining your dog's health and vitality. Lamb from Iceland is so special, it is the only food product from Iceland that has been awarded the prestigious Protected Destination of Origin (PDO) designation. The prestigious PDO designation, conferred on exclusive products like French champagne, Parma ham, etc, is only awarded to products that meet very strict conditions regarding unique, local production methods and the use of raw materials from the local environment.
