CEYLAN MINERAL SU DI NOI
PROGRESSION IN THE GLOBAL ARENA WITH QUALITATIVE AND SUSTAINABLE MINING!
Ceylan Mineral Mining, one of the companies of the Ceylan Group, was founded with the aim of bringing to light the riches present in the subsoil, contributing to the regional and national economy and creating sustainable value from production to the final consumer. As we continue the exploration of gypsum, marble and coal at our licensed sites, our flagship ore, Sodium Bentonite, is extracted from our 4,000-hectare mines, one of our four licensed sites in the Çankiri Tüney Köyü area, and processed in our high-tech factory.
On a 50,000 m² plot of land with about 10,000 m² of interior space, located 75 km from Ankara in the Yakinkent Organized Industrial Zone, our factory processes sodium bentonite mines with a capacity of 100,000 tons of granular sodium bentonite (bedding products) and 80,000 tons of micronized sodium bentonite (products for the smelting and drilling industry). We offer our processed sodium bentonite to consumers as a final product and to industries as a semi-finished product.
By commissioning the cat litter manufacturing facility in our factory first, we started our operations in both domestic and overseas markets in 2023 under our own brands, Toi Moi and Kityus. As of 2025, we have launched two cat litter brands, Ecolitt and Montycat. In our first year, we have taken important steps to become a global player by exporting our cat litter made from bentonite mines extracted from Çankiri to over 40 countries, from South Korea to Bolivia, from Italy to Germany. Of course, our goal is not only to increase our exports with cat litter. We also conduct R&D studies to make bentonite suitable for certain industrial applications by analyzing the chemical, physical and mineralogical properties of bentonite in more detail.
