Afripellet bedding stays drier and is more absorbent than conventional bedding, boasting up to 500% absorbency. This means that it is less susceptible to mold, ensuring a healthy cage climate and a long-term dry surface. Additionally, our hygiene litter is odor-binding and biodegradable, resulting in significantly less waste that can be easily composted.

Our large animal bedding is equally impressive, forming an elastic mattress that provides hoofed animals and heavy sole walkers with a joint-gentle surface. The hooves also have a non-slip and dry footing, ensuring optimal health and comfort for your animals.

What's more, our pellets are almost germ-free and dust-free, thanks to our pelleting process at > 90 °C. They are also free of pesticides and salmonella, making them perfect for animals with allergies and respiratory diseases.

The best part? The idea for afripellet came from a project funded by the Federal Ministry, promoting water supply and agricultural development in Africa. By using the surplus product of shelling, marketing, and increasing the value of the peanut shell, we have built a sustainable production process that provides hundreds of motivated villages in Africa with new opportunities.
