Zoomark is back, in great style. What news do you have in store for visitors to your stand at BolognaFiere?
FidOVet will be present at Zoomark for the first time. All those who come to our stand (hall 29, booth F25) will get the chance to see our line of fresh foods and snacks: 100% Made in Italy, with 100% natural ingredients. The focus will be on our line of dog Ice Creams and Complete Fresh Menus for dogs, which recently won the Quality Award 2023, an important award based on rigorous blind testing on a large sample of consumers.
Why do you think is it important to take part in Zoomark? What are your expectations and what are your goals?
Zoomark is undoubtedly the most important international pet food and pet care show of the year, and it is important for FidOVet to be involved in such a high-profile event. It is an opportunity to present our entire product line, which is based on innovation and research, combined with a completely artisanal production method, to an international audience.
At Zoomark 2023 we expect to build new, important business relationships with Italian and international buyers and distributors, and explore the possibility of exporting our products to new markets: our unique, highly innovative products represent a competitive advantage for distributors and retailers. For example, our Ice Creams do not need to be refrigerated for transport and storage, and our Complete Fresh Menus are shelf-stable for up to 8 months, thanks to our innovative production process and cooking and storage system.
Can you tell me about your vision of the pet market: what are your predictions for the industry from now to Zoomark 2023? What challenges await us in the coming months and what opportunities?
The pet market is facing many challenges, now and in the coming months: from inflation, with end consumers losing purchasing power, to the rising costs of energy and raw materials.
Nonetheless, one of the trends driving the market is that of spending quality time with pets, who are increasingly regarded as bona fide members of the family, and this includes pampering them with tasty food and treats that are nonetheless healthy, balanced and specifically tailored to their needs.
