Zoomark is back, in great style. What news do you have in store for visitors to your stand at BolognaFiere?
The new products we will be showcasing include our cat litter made from eco-friendly, renewable raw materials. Our focus is increasingly on sustainable raw materials that have less impact on the environment. We will also be presenting a new line of wet cat food that has been carefully created to ensure exceptional acceptance by cats, in addition to having ingredients that feed and nourish cats at different stages. In terms of toys, the Starmark line of mental stimulation, training and educational toys will be presenting new products designed to guarantee that boredom is no longer a problem for dogs.

Why do you think is it important to take part in Zoomark? What are your expectations and what are your goals?
Being part of an international trade show allows us to expand our contacts in Central Europe and introduce our wide range of high-quality, innovative, sustainable and environmentally friendly products to more markets. Although Schulze has been on the market since 1984, it is always good to meet new generations and potential customers.

Can you tell me about your vision of the pet market: what are your predictions for the industry from now to Zoomark 2023? What challenges await us in the coming months and what opportunities?
The market in the pet sector is constantly changing, and more and more pet owners are concerned about buying items that not only meet the expectations and needs of their pets, but do not generate a negative impact on the environment. That is to say, products that are sustainable without neglecting the nutritional and premium factor. Our challenge is to offer customers a product that fulfils the needs of both owners and pets, and given the crisis caused by the pandemic, one of the biggest issues we face is sourcing raw materials without significantly increasing costs, and maintaining the loyalty of our customers.
