Zoomark is back, in a big way. What news do you have in store for visitors to your stand at BolognaFiere?
We always look forward to seeing our friends & retail partners in person at Zoomark! We are so excited to be back in the booth and meet with our friends from the international community – some of whom we have known for many years. We look forward to connecting with our customers, discussing what's new in regards to what they're seeing in their stores as well as what products we are introducing, and connecting on what is happening in the industry as a whole. And of course we also hope to connect with possible partners for countries where we are not yet represented. And this is a good opportunity to meet them as well.
At BolognaFiere we will be introducing Toppl XL, a larger sized of our best-selling, mentally stimulating treat toy, Toppl. This new X-large size has been something we have been eager to share with the international markets as it is a great slow-feeder and perfect for larger breeds.
And who knows what else we will have to present by May!

Why do you think it is important to take part in Zoomark? What are your expectations and what are your goals?
Trade shows are a significant investment, so we try to get the most out of them. West Paw finds it extremely valuable to attend Zoomark because, unlike the US market, we meet vendors from different countries. We get to learn about pet owners in different countries and their purchasing habits in a way we wouldn’t if we didn’t attend Zoomark. We very much cherish the time we get to listen to our international partners, and enjoy having the opportunity to understand how we can best support them.
Lastly, we appreciate the ability for all of us to be able to merchandise and speak about our products in the ways we intend for them to be communicated. We love that trade shows allow us the opportunity to bring our brand story to life.
Additionally, West Paw picks up a significant number of new customers at trade shows and we would not be able to do this without these events.

Can you tell me about your vision of the pet market: what are your predictions for the industry from now to Zoomark 2023? What challenges await us in the coming months and what opportunities?
West Paw will continue creating the most sustainable, durable and innovative dog toys on the market. And the next few months will be no exception. We have some exciting new designs in the pipeline and, as always, our design team will be thoughtfully working to create durable, safe and mentally stimulating pet products.
Luckily, we make 99.9% of our products in the USA, so supply chain issues don’t necessarily affect us as much as other pet product manufacturers. However, due to the fact that we cannot get all of our components from American manufacturers, we are not immune to the effects of supply chain disruptions. We are proactive so that we can minimize any supply chain issues but that is something we continue to keep our eyes on.
And of course, we do face other challenges that everybody in the world has to face, but we are still very positive and we continue to work on being “Dog’s Best Friend®” around the globe.
