The company AGROS Trading GmbH was founded in 2000 and specializes in the production and marketing of year-round wild bird feed and cat litter. AGROS produces private labels and also has several EU brands, such as Birds' Garden and Birds Best Selection for wild bird feed. AGROS's cat litter brands include SILICA Gel Cat Litter, CatClin Energy Crystals, PowerCat, and StarCat. For bentonite, AGROS offers the brands CANCAT and CATSIL ULTRA WHITE. In 2004, Margit and Klaus Fuchshuber began researching and developing a plant-based cat litter with the clumping power of grains. In 2007, the brand GrainCat was introduced to the market as the first Europe-produced and patented clumping litter based on corn. In 2010, the range of organic cat litter was expanded with WaldStreu, a wood-based litter. In 2023, the marketing of the new compact clumping litter Bio-CATSIL, based on grains, began. AGROS Trading GmbH is now an important provider of high-quality cat litter products made from various materials, with a focus on in-house production and marketing of plant-based clumping litter made from different plant fibers.

AGROS has modern and high-performance packaging machines, ensuring an efficient and flexible packaging process. With the latest packaging line, 30 x 10-liter cat litter bags are packaged and palletized per minute, totaling over 4 million packages per year. We are able to quickly respond to market demands and offer a wide range of packaging sizes, from 0.5 kg to 25 kg or from 5 liters to 40 liters, for fast delivery. Thanks to a large number of silo cells and packaging machines, we can quickly produce a variety of products tailored to customer needs, such as the new clumping litter based on wheat, barley, or corn. As production, processing, and packaging take place directly at the company's location, AGROS is particularly flexible and efficient when it comes to packaging, cartonizing, palletizing, and more. This applies not only to our branded products but also to various private label products for retail chains and wholesalers.
