Rotifer Su Ürünleri ve Yayincilik Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Sti. was founded in 2007 by Prof. Dr. Gökay Atilla Alpbaz and his son, mechanical engineer Salih Alpbaz, with the aim of overcoming the monopoly of the artemia importer in Turkey and offering a more reasonable pricing strategy. In 2015, the company launched ROTIPET, its second registered brand, focused on pet products, with the slogan “For our big-hearted little friends!” Since then, ROTIPET has become synonymous with high-quality pet care.

In 2021, the company began manufacturing high-quality cardboard cat scratchers, which have quickly become a favorite among pet owners. These scratchers are not only durable and ergonomic but also FSC Certified, ensuring that they are made from responsibly sourced materials. Following a major construction project, the company expanded its warehousing and manufacturing space to 3,000 m² by 2022. By 2025, we are proud to announce that our big-hearted little friends worldwide are enjoying these high-quality, natural, and eco-friendly (FSC Certified) cat scratchers. Additionally, the company is preparing to acquire the BSCI certificate to demonstrate the care it takes in supporting the team behind the most popular cat scratchers.
