Toxoplasmosis parasites are known to be present in cat faeces.

Most governments prohibit composting in your own backyard or in local and federal government composting facilities. The temperatures are too low to kill the parasite.

If the results are positive, the new Arenamar cat litter could become 100% compostable (shells and faeces). But we are not there yet, our research team is busy with all kinds of tests...
