If the pH is acidic (below 5.5/6) or alkaline (above 7/7.5), it is considered altered/abnormal. This does not necessarily mean there is a disease, as the pH can vary based on the type of food consumed or even medication. However, the consistency of this indicator should prompt you to take your cat to the veterinarian for a more detailed analysis.It doesn’t get stuck to your cat’s paws so you shouldn’t find traces of this litter on your floor. It’s ideal for smell sensitive cats.
