Brands
Naturhof Schröder

Naturhof Schröder, a medium-sized and owner-managed company, develops and refines wholesome products out of hay and straw for rodents and rabbits. All of this is done in strict allignment with animal welfare and sustainability.

An idea came alive.

In the year 2006 Friedrich Wilhelm Schröder began marketing organic hay, aside from his agricultural dairy farm.

Since 2010 we have been producing high-quality products with the aim of ensuring high sustainability through the use of minimal packaging and optimised logistics. Our hay and straw products are available as
feed, snacks or litter. Always with a heavy focus on quality and sustainability. We strive towards the economical interests of the trade, ensuring continued innovation and profitable margins, hence keeping
the products relevant at point-of-sale. After all, this is where we want to capture the customers’ attention.

What makes our products so special?
• Innovation
• Minimal and sustainable packaging
• Good price-performance
• Attractive margins for the dealers
• Possibility of house brand labelling
• Clean and simple display of product
• Practical and easy goods withdrawal

Our "Play hay bale" with flowers

Quatratically good was yesterday! The round play bales are gently wrapped with species-rich hay from meadows in the Wesermarsch. This reduces the fine particles in the hay, the stalks rich in fibres remain long. So, the round bales are not only a real joy to nibble on, but also encourage the pets's play instinct. 100% grain/grain by - free. Optimal ratio of volume, quantity and quality.

Naturhof Schröder's Hay Bale:

• 87% film savings
• 250%-300% more volume on one pallet
• over 60% saving of electrical energy
• more comfortable feeding
• undamaged hay structure
