Environmental protection is an important goal for our company. We want to be kind to the environment and protect it. This is our commitment to future generations of people and animals. So it is clear to us what we need to do: • Some of the electricity we use is produced by our own photovoltaic system. • Our high-tech production facilities are kind to the environment and save both water and energy. Since 2014, we have saved 10 % energy for every kilogram of pet food we produce. • All of our box packaging is made from 100 % recycled paper • Up to 70 % of our raw ingredients come from the region. Short transport distances mean less pollution. • We participate in the dual system (Green Dot) and aim to make our packaging more and more recyclable. Half a million invested in environmental protection Over the last few years we have invested over 500,000 euros in energy-saving measures, from our PV system for generating green electricity through to our condensate recovery system. This saves water and energy and returns them to the production cycle. Of course, we also consistently ensure that our production machinery is always state-of-the-art and conforms to the latest environmental standards. All of our packaging boxes are recyclable. All of our shipping packaging for small packs is made from board based on 100 % unbleached and solvent-free recycled paper. This means it is totally recyclable. Our environment is too valuable to measure it with money alone. We shall continue to work to the bene?t of our climate and to preserve Nature.
